The Heart of the Park is a graphical representation of a Sessile Oak originally drawn from a Tree on the Chatsworth Estate.
The image is built up of 1000’s of Peak District wildlife icons.
At its heart is a circular poem comprising a series of 12 personal sentiments that describe the unique beauty and importance to our well being of the Peak District National Park.
